Dear Valued Customer of Advanced Warning Security Systems,LLC

On behalf of our entire team, I’d like to welcome you to the International Built-In Systems family.

As you are aware, John Papaleo has chosen to take a well-deserved retirement.  Customers of Advanced Warning Security Systems will now become part of IBS.   Just like Advanced Warning we are a locally based company here in Albany. We are excited and honored to continue to provide you with the highest quality protection and great service you are accustomed to from Mr. Papaleo.

We have a lot in common.  We are both small family owned and operated companies who have stood the test of time.  IBS has been in business since 1971.  You will get to know and trust our long-time employees. We offer the latest technology in residential and commercial systems, including video, access control, fire, security and environmental alarms.  Our Monitoring Response Center services are provided through the same UL-Listed center for the past twenty years.

If you have any questions, please don’t hesitate to contact us. We look forward to meeting you and providing your security needs.

Sincerely,

International Built-In Systems, Inc.
Jason Kenney, President

Covid-19 update

All International Systems employees are fully vaccinated with the Covid-19 vaccine.  Our technicians will continue to wear masks and use proper hand sanitation.  They also carry shoe covers and gloves for full protection.  Our office remains closed to customers, however, if you need to pick-up a piece of equipment, contact our office when you are coming and we will leave it at our front door for you.

Verizon and AT&T 3G/4G Sunset

Verizon and AT&T are planning the end of service for the 3G/4G wireless network and the implementation of LTE technology.  How does this effect you?  Our GSM cell radio transmitters,  which are used to communicate alarm signals from your system to our Monitoring Response Center, use the Verizon or AT&T networks.  The GSM radio needs to be updated to an LTE transmitter in order to maintain communication through the new networks.  All new activations will be on the LTE network.

If you currently have a GSM transmitter you will be receiving an email or a telephone call explaining the need to update the radio and to schedule the change.  Due to the number of updates needed we are grouping this service geographically.  If you have any questions, please contact our office during regular business hours.
